Dr. Vikas Gupta is a well-known cancer surgeon practicing in Navi Mumbai and Mumbai. He completed his Masters in Surgery from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Hospital and Medical College, Mumbai. Thereafter he did his super specialty training through Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Surgical Oncology from Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute in Hyderabad.

He appeared and cleared the European Board of Surgical Oncology qualification exam and was awarded the Fellowship of the European Board of Surgeons during his visit to the Netherland. He had also visited the Department of Surgical Oncology at Nebraska Médical Center, Nebraska, the United States of America to gain training in oncology on par international standards. He got an opportunity to train in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery at Nippon Medical School, Chiba Hokusoh Hospital, Japan. During his international training, he learned advanced management protocols and surgical techniques for various cancers from renowned surgeons.

With the advanced training that he has received, Dr. Gupta can independently perform surgeries for Gastrointestinal Cancers, Head and Neck Cancers, Breast Cancers, Gynecological Cancer, and Thoracic cancers. He believes in giving the right care to the right patient so as to help cancer patients win their battle with cancer. His goal is to provide holistic and individualized care to every cancer patient he treats, so as to make their journey comfortable.
